About the Information Desk
The Information Desk is staffed the entire time that the Library is open. The Staff at the Information Desk is there to assist patrons in using the Library. This includes:
- Finding books
- Finding articles
- Using the Catalogue
- Using the E-Resources
- Reading call numbers (telling you what a call number is)
- Evaluating websites
- Finding DVDs and videos
- Discovering new information sources
- And more….

The Information Desk Staff does not generally interpret information. We will not compile or check bibliographies or proofread papers. Our focus is on the Library’s resources and our aim is to instruct and explain while assisting patrons to help them become more information literate.
