Service Interruption for ProQuest - April 17, 2013

On April 17, 2013 ProQuest is scheduling a very brief network maintenance window in order to update our systems. 

A one hour (1) hour maintenance window is needed to install these updates. This will occur: Eastern Daylight Time: April 17, 2013 at 06:00 AM for one (1) hour

During this time databases on ProQuest and ProQuest Dialog will not be available.

Problem exporting to RefWorks from Wiley sites and Science Direct (Elsevier)

The Wiley export issue is a long-standing issue. Fortunately, Memorial University have documented a helpful workaround for the lack of a working direct export from RefWorks to two Wiley sites (Wiley Online Library and Anthrosource):

Service Interruption for Taylor & Francis

Taylor and Francis Online will be undergoing maintenance on Monday October 29, from 14:00 GMT until 19:00 GMT. The platform will be unavailable during this time.

Service Interruption for Wiley

Due to essential site maintenance, Wiley Online Library service may be interrupted on Saturday, October 27 at 5:00am Eastern time for up to two hours.

Service Interruption for Springer

Springer has notified us that this Saturday (October 27th) there will be a period of scheduled downtime for all Springer hosted online services from:
  • 10:30 GMT to approximately 15:30 GMT - London
  • 5:30 - 10:30 - New York

Mendeley and EZproxy

Mendeley offers only limited support for linking to Library resources. To set up Mendeley website to use the Get It! service, login to Mendeley web. Click on the Papers tab, and open up any paper:
