You may already have a Library card. Consult this list to see which card you should use for your Library card.

You are...	Your library card is...
a student at Canadore College or Nipissing University	a valid photo id student card. Students taking Professional Development courses from the Nipissing Faculty of Education, other than Master of Education courses, will need to purchase a card.
a faculty member or employee of the college or university	an employee photo id card.
an alumnus of the college or university	your alumni card. To obtain an alumni card: Canadore students should phone 705-474-7600, extension 5172 Nipissing students should phone 474-3450, extension 4573
a community member	a library card given to you at the Circulation Desk. This card is free for members of the following libraries: Bonfield Public Library Callander Public Library East Ferris Public Library Education Centre Library (Nipissing University / Canadore College) Mattawa Public Library Nipissing First Nations Public Library North Bay Public Library Powassan & District Union Public Library South River - Machar Union Public Library Temagami Public Library West Nipissing Public Library See PALS (Public and Academic Libraries Sharing) for more information. Menbers from other communities can purchase a membership card. The annual cost of the membership is based on the period from September to August and is pro-rated monthly: September: $50 October: $46 November: $42 December: $38 January: $34 February:$30 March: $24 April $20 May: $18 June to August: $10
a student from an institution that participates in the Canadian University Reciprocal Borrowing Agreement, or from an Ontario college.	a library card given to you at the Circulation Desk. There is no cost for this card, but you must present a valid student card from your home institution.
