ARTstor Requirements

The current version of ARTstor supports the following browsers1:
·         IE 7.0+ 2
·         Firefox 3.0+
·         Safari 3.0+

1 In our current and improved version, older internet browsers, such as IE 6, Firefox 2.5, and Safari 2.5 are not supported.

2 For IE 7.0, you must add www.artstor.org as a Trusted Site to access all the features in the Image Viewer window.

Experiencing problems viewing content? Check the following:-

  • Sun Java Version latest version is required.

Install or test the latest version of Java for free

  • Flash Player is required.

Flash Player version 6 or above is required.
How do I install Flash player? 
Go to the Macromedia web site and uncheck the optional "free McAfee" and click on the "Agree and Install Now". The software download is free and the web site provides instructions for installation.

  • Disable popup blockers or allow popup windows from *.artstor.org and *.artstor.net.

  • Cookies must be enabled.

  • Is the Image Viewer window opening blank, with no image?

You may need to clear your browser cache.
