The Harries Learning Library journal publishing service offers a no-fee local publication facility for students and faculty who wish to publish an online open access journal. We partner with the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL) and Scholars Portal to host and distribute locally-managed journals.
The Harries Learning Library will support the set-up and continued maintenance of journals, in addition to providing direction for increasing the visibility and discoverability of journal content. Our librarians and staff will also validate standard identifiers for your journal and its content.
Library-hosted journals can be found on our Open Journal Sytems (OJS) platform. Developed by Public Knowledge Project, OJS is an open-source journal management and publishing system used by journals worldwide.
Contact the library for any questions about starting or supporting a journal.
