Course Reserves

Requesting Course Reserves
Faculty may submit requests for Library materials to go on Course Reserve at the Circulation Desk, by email, or through the Course Reserves Form.  Professors' copies and photocopies for Reserve may be brought to the Library, or sent through inter-office mail, and a paper form must accompany these requests (forms are available at the Circulation Desk).

Please allow at least one week to process a reserve item. There are two kinds of Course Reserves:

Reserves (3-hour loan)

  • Located at the Circulation Desk
  • May not leave the Library
  • No holds or renewals
  • Use for photocopies, professor copies, and Library materials

Short loan (2-day loan)

  • Filed along with the regular Library materials
  • No holds or renewals
  • Use only for Library materials

Since there is limited space behind the Circulation Desk, Faculty are asked to use the Short Loan option when possible.
