The library has recently acquired the International Encyclopedia of Human Geography.


$subunit GEOBASE features international literature covering human and physical geography, ecology, geology, oceanography, geomechanics, and development studies. It includes references to journal articles, books, conference proceedings, and reports.

$subunit GeoRef and GeoScience World combines access to GeoRef, a database from the American Geosciences Institute that covers geoscience journal articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports and theses, as well as GeoScience World, a full text journal archive for earth science researchers and the geosciences industry.

$subunit Scholars GeoPortal provides access to a growing selection of geospatial datasets currently available to Ontario Universities.

$subunit Scholars Portal Journals is a multi-disciplinary database with millions of articles drawn from journals covering every academic discipline. Previously known as E-Journals @ Nipissing University (Scholars Portal).

$subunit$subunit Academic Search Premier consists of a wide range of articles related to the social sciences, general sciences, humanities and education. It contains journals, magazines, newspapers, video content from the Associated Press and more.

$subunit Taylor & Francis Online provides full-text access to journals covering education, health sciences, science, social sciences and humanities.

$subunit Science Direct features articles and book chapters covering physical sciences, engineering, life sciences, health sciences and social sciences.

$subunit Science Online covers life sciences, physical sciences, and social sciences. It includes Science Magazine, Science Now, and more.

$subunit$subunit NRC Research Press is a collection of journals published by National Research Council Canada covering biological and natural sciences.

$subunit Canadian Research Index provides access to a variety of reports and publications produced by Canadian governments (federal, provincial, territorial, and municipal) and institutional sources.
